Houston’s HCMUS visit connects research discussions with applicant interviews

Date: October 15, 2026 (event) Source: VNUHCM–University of Science, university account Last verified: October 21, 2026

On October 15, VNUHCM–University of Science met University of Houston representatives to discuss education and research cooperation. The visit also introduced postgraduate opportunities for fall 2027 and included in-person interviews with prospective applicants.

Why it matters: You can use one visit to connect faculty discussions about research fit with student discussions about admission. Give each conversation a separate objective and follow-up owner, and prepare clear information on supervision, entry requirements and verified funding terms. A visit and interviews do not establish a signed partnership or funded cohort.

If you're considering something similar:

  • Agree research questions and faculty participants before the delegation travels
  • Prepare program, admissions and funding information for prospective applicants
  • Track qualified applications and later enrollment when reviewing the visit
